A Sacramento, California native, Jennifer received undergraduate degrees in Psychology & Philosophy from Santa Clara University and her Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from New York University. She completed her professional coaching certification through the UC Davis Extension to become an ACC-level certified coach through the International Coach Federation.
Prior to launching Via in 2015, Jennifer spent nearly 10 years in a variety of leadership roles in IBM’s Global Business Services consulting organization, where she ran award-winning global programs for Fortune 500 clients in leadership development, succession planning, change management, and learning. She also spent two years on a small core team delivering massive online collaboration events called “Innovation Jams” for clients looking to generate ideas around business-critical or urgent societal issues globally.
After nearly a decade of jet-setting around the world and working 70+ hour weeks, the burnout set in. Helped along by a significant downsizing at IBM in 2015, Jennifer embarked on a journey to create an organization that allows her to advocate for servant-and values-based leadership, strengths-centric development, and feminine approaches to management & goal-setting. Thus, Via was born.
“Via” is a nod to Jennifer’s Italian heritage; it translates to “the route” or “the path”, in appreciation of the journeys her clients are on as they transition from one phase of their careers and their lives to the next, as well as a testament to her own professional journey.
